The Dementia Society of America (DSA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to increasing awareness and educating the general public on a wide spectrum of dementia-related problems. The mission of the DSA is to increase quality of life.
- Teach — To significantly raise the awareness and lessen the stigma in America to the range of illnesses collectively called dementia, through schooling.
- Supply — To make accessible, non-medical, easy-to-understand dementia awareness resources and materials to individuals, small businesses, larger businesses, civic associations and communities-at-large. To offer yearly programs and also from public forums, that highlight significant therapies for their caregivers, and those living with dementia. These programs can be a lifeline for people that are currently searching for strategies to enhance the lifestyles of men and women living with the illness.
- Realize — To promote those who offer exemplary dementia caregiving, counseling, participation as well as nutritional service; those who create prevention efforts; and people who produce innovative products, solutions, and options.
